Do we need a gaming licence for our Casino Knight Event?

No. As long as no money changes hands at the Casino tables and you do not offer a cash prize. Casino Knights events are run in compliance with the Amusement & Lotteries Act legislation.

Is this actual gambling?

No. We only use fun money at the actual gaming tables.

Do you have Public Liability Insurance?

Yes. We are fully insured and covered to run private and public events.

Can we issue fun money to raise actual money for our charity or cause?

Yes. There are many different ways you can use a Fun Casino to raise money. Please speak to us for advice and ideas.

Is your equipment genuine casino equipment?

Yes. Our full size gaming tables are authentic to tables you will find used in the Casinos. Our tables all have the same size layouts.

Do you need electricity?

No. We have our own lighting that we use in addition to the venue lighting, this is perfect for outdoor events.

However, sometimes if we need additional lighting to illuminate the gaming tables, in these circumstances we would just need a standard 13amp socket.

What is involved in setting up?

A typical two table event take approximately 30 minutes to set up if there is an easy access. We aim to arrive an hour prior to the Casino start time. Casino Knights liaise with the venue regarding access and work with other suppliers.  Early set up is possible in most cases but may incur an additional charge.

Can I have a Casino at home?

Yes. As long as you have the space, we have a package to suit all venues and budgets. All our tables can be broken down to give us access.

How many Fun Casino tables will I need?

Casino Knights will advise on the number of tables for your event.  This will depend upon the number of guests, format for the evening and any other entertainment.

Are there any venues we can't use?

As this is not officially gambling there are no restrictions, however you may want to mention what you are intending when booking a venue.

Do I need to involve the venue?

Most venues are familiar with Fun Casino entertainment and will understand what is needed. We are happy to deal with venue management direct if they have any queries or specific questions.

Are Croupiers included?

Yes. We include croupiers in all our fun Casino hire and packages. We can provide croupiers for as long as you require, but the standard time is approximately 2 hours. All will have worked in the Casino industry and have many year’s experience of running the tables.

I’ve never been to a casino before. Will that matter?

Absolutely not. Fun Casinos are great entertainment for everyone, young and old regardless of their experience. Our experienced croupiers will teach and guide anyone who requires it, in a fun and relaxed way. Guests can also ask to run some demonstration games before the event begins.

How much time do we get at the casino tables?

We usually suggest that you set the Casino experience for 2 to 3 hours. You can have a break in between or have two one hour sessions. This will give all your guests a chance to experience the Casino tables and play each game, if there is a choice. However, hiring times can be discussed to make sure we meet the requirements of your event.

How many vouchers for Fun money should we issue?

Casino Knights will talk through the event with you and recommend how much is issued per person to ensure that everyone gets the chance to play. This recommendation is based on the number of guests , how many tables you have booked. You may also want to issue additional fun money to guests, especially, especially at a wedding or party.

How do we calculate the winning player?

Players are asked to return their chips and any cashing out slips to the tables. The Croupiers  will work out a winner(s).  The list can be passed to you or the DJ to announce.

What prizes should we give to winners?

Its totally up to you and it depends on what you want from the night. Casino Knights provide a bottle of bubbly for the winner. Additional prizes can be provided if required.
